Denise Welch lambasts council for failing to collect her son’s rubbish

Denise Welch has lambasted a London council for failing to collect her son’s rubbish and claimed a bin collector called him a ‘c***’ when he complained.

In a now deleted X post on Monday, the Loose Women star, 67, wrote: ‘Hi @brent_council. You haven’t emptied my son’s bins in 3 weeks. Any attempts at due process has failed.

‘He tried to talk to a collector who called him a c***!! Can you let me know how we move forward!!!!’

Denise has two sons from her previous marriage to Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and Benidorm star Tim Healy – 1974 frontman Matty Healy, 36, who owns a property in Hackney but lives in Hollywood, and actor Louis Healy, 25.

It is currently unclear which son she is referring to her in her tweet.

In a reply to Denise’s post, Brent Council said: ‘Hi Denise, we are very sorry to hear about you son’s experience.

‘If you could DM us the address, we will look into this as a matter of urgency.’

In a now deleted X post on Monday, the Loose Women star, 67, wrote: 'Hi @brent_council. You haven't emptied my son's bins in 3 weeks. Any attempts at due process has failed'

Just three hours after she made the post, Denise decided to delete it once Brent Council had bumped her to the front of their complaints queue.

‘So @brent_council has responded thank you. And I appreciate all of your comments which have made me laugh,’ she wrote.

But it was all a bit too vague for Denise’s followers who demanded she reveal which son was allegedly victimised by a Brent Council bin man.

‘Now that’s confirmed could you confirm which son please as it’s causing major upset in your comments not knowing,’ one wrote, whilst another asked: ‘Which son was it Denise?’

Others jokingly wrote: ‘I won’t sleep until I see Matty’s empty wheelie bin Denise x’ and ‘Anytime beloved – hope the bins get sorted x’.

Daily Mail has approached Brent Council for comment.

Denise has previously admitted to being a helicopter parents who inserts herself into ‘every aspect’ of her sons’ lives.

Helicopter parents refer to parents who are overly protective and controlling of their children’s lives. They earned this stereotype for being perceived as relentlessly hovering over their children, trying to micro-manage their affairs.

Despite the unfortunate label, Denise revealed that she happily invades her boys’ lives with ‘military precision’ offering unwanted advice and being meddlesome.

In a column with The i Paper, the TV personality shared that her boys find her so interfering, they’ve branded her a ‘Poundland Kris Jenner’.

Denise explained: ‘The radar is on full alert at all times and I insert myself into any aspect of their lives I can squeeze into. Totally uninvited, I swoop in with military precision to offer advice and solutions to problems they don’t have.’
