An Iranian missile struck a power and water desalination plant in Kuwait killing one worker as Gulf states come under renewed attacks in the Middle East war.
Kuwaiti authorities say an Indian national died following the attack which caused ‘significant material damage’ to the site yesterday.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s defence ministry said five ballistic missiles have been intercepted by its forces while air defences have also been operating in Dubai following more Iranian attacks.
It comes as Donald Trump said he could ‘take the oil in Iran’ and boasted that he can invade Kharg Island ‘easily’.
The number of US troops in the Middle East has swelled to 50,000, roughly 10,000 more than usual, as the Iran war enters its fifth week following the launch of Operation Epic Fury on February 28.
