Formula One star Charles Leclerc reveals all about his wedding

Formula One star Charles Leclerc has given an insight into his wedding to influencer partner Alexandra Saint Mleux after the pair tied the knot.

The couple were filmed driving off in a vintage Ferrari on a picturesque coastal road in snaps shared over the weekend with Saint Mleux, 23, wearing a white dress and holding flowers and the driver decked out in a white suit.

Behind them were three motorbikes and a black Mercedes in the clip widely shared on social media.

Neither Leclerc, 28, nor his bride confirmed the news on their channels immediately, but the Ferrari star has now revealed they wed on Saturday – less than a week before the start of the new Formula One season.

The Monaco-born racer revealed a number of details in a social media video, showing off Alexandra’s dress, the exchanging of the rings and their dog, Leo, in attendance.

Footage also showed the couple being greeted and congratulated by their guests, with another video showing the drive in the Ferrari, operated by Leclerc.

The duo have completed 'part one' of their wedding, according to the Formula One driver

The duo wed in Monaco on Saturday and drove away in a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa worth £9millon

It was a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, which costs around £9million, driven by the eight-time Grand Prix winner. It is one of the most valuable vintage Ferraris, particularly given the racing success and significance of the model for the legendary Italian company.

He also posted on X: ‘A day we’ll forever remember. Part one is done and part 2 will be next year with all of our close ones.’

Leclerc had announced his engagement to his other half only last November, meaning there was a quick turnaround for the wedding.

The driver shared the news on Instagram, captioning an array of romantic photos ‘Mr and Mrs Leclerc’, which included Leo – who is fast becoming popular with F1 fans in his own right.

Leclerc and Saint Mleux have been dating since early 2023, when they were spotted together at Paris Fashion Week that March.

Later in the year, shortly after Leclerc confirmed he was in a relationship but stopped short of naming Saint Mleux, they stepped out together at Wimbledon to confirm their relationship.

And it appears that Leclerc, worth an estimated £92million, splashed out big on the ring.

According to Laura Taylor, a jeweller specialising in engagement rings at Lorel Diamonds, Saint Mleux’s ring is worth at least £400,000.

The model and influencer has more than three million followers on Instagram alone

‘Alexandra’s engagement ring features a gorgeous oval cut diamond set on a platinum pave band. The diamond looks to be around 5 to 6 carats, with a truly bright appearance that suggests it’s of exceptional quality,’ Taylor said to the Daily Mail.

‘If the diamond is natural and of exceptional quality, I’d estimate the ring to be worth upwards of £400,000.’

Leclerc has been in two high-profile relationships before. He dated Italian model Giada Gianna for four years, with the couple splitting up in 2019.

And after that, the Formula 1 star was with famous architect Charlotte Sine, breaking up in December 2022.

Leclerc will soon be diverting his attention to racing, with the Australian Grand Prix, the season opener, taking place on Sunday, with practice getting underway towards the end of the week
