Recap: Disturbing photos in Epstein files appear to show Andrew on all fours over female

This undated photo at an undisclosed location released by the US Justice Department on January 30, 2026 as part of the Jeffrey Epstein files shows British former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor kneeling over a woman lying on the floor. A second Jeffrey Epstein accuser has alleged the late US sex offender sent her to Britain for a sexual encounter with former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the BBC reported. A US lawyer for the woman told the broadcaster late January 31, 2026 the alleged encounter occurred at the ousted royal's residence on the Windsor estate, west of London, in 2010 when she was in her 20s. The latest account emerged after the US Justice Department released a huge new batch of documents on the Epstein case, including photographs of Andrew kneeling over a woman lying on the floor. As a reminder, today’s new email comes after Andrew faced fresh embarrassment following the latest release of the Epstein files.

Disturbing photos released in the dump show Andrew crouching on all fours over a female lying on the floor.

In the three photographs, a man believed to be Andrew can be seen leaning over the woman who is sprawled face up with their arms spread out.

He is staring directly at the camera in one picture, while in another he has placed his left hand on the female’s stomach.

The man, thought to be the former Duke of York, is barefoot and is wearing jeans and a white polo shirt, along with a silver watch.

Like much of the material released in the Epstein files, it is unclear when or where the images were taken and no further context is given.

Last month, a photo of Andrew lying on the laps of five women at Sandringham was released in another batch of files.

RICHARD EDEN: Why Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor must face a full criminal investigation

The Metropolitan Police must reopen its investigation into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Richard Eden has demanded after the latest release of millions of pages from the Jeffrey Epstein files.

On Friday, the US Department of Justice released its largest tranche yet of previously restricted files from its investigation into the secretive financier and sex offender.

The former Duke of York features prominently in over 3 million pages, 180,000 images and 2,000 videos released by US authorities.

Among the files were images of Andrew kneeling over an unidentified woman with his hand on her abdomen, emails in which Epstein offered to introduce Andrew to a 26-year-old Russian woman, and alleged messages inviting the convicted sex offender to Buckingham Palace for dinner barely a month after his release from house arrest.

The Daily Mail’s Diary Editor has joined calls for the disgraced royal to face a renewed criminal investigation, demanding Andrew be interviewed under caution on his show Palace Reacts.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is under mounting pressure to co-operate with US officials investigating Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes, with sources saying it is a ‘matter of personal conscience’ as well as his public duty.

While Buckingham Palace has declined to comment on the latest revelations from the US Department of Justice file dump, royal sources told the Daily Mail last night that ‘providing testimony is now a matter for Andrew and his conscience’.

Insiders also said it was always a principle that those who have relevant information should ‘participate in any lawful inquiry on any subject’.

The development will add fuel to the fire of calls for the former prince to break his self-imposed silence and publicly co-operate with officials investigating Epstein’s crimes – and the network of contacts that aided and abetted him.

However, despite being seen driving and riding around Windsor – where he was, astonishingly, photographed smiling and waving to onlookers without an apparent care in the world yesterday – there continued to be a deafening silence from the former royal.
