World leaders including Argentina’s Javier Milei and Hungary’s Viktor Orban have been unveiled as members of Donald Trump’s newly formed Board of Peace at Davos.
The leaders were brought out on stage at a ceremony hosted by Trump.
Several other countries with close ties to Trump sent representatives, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Notably absent were some of the typical Western leaders aligned with the United States.
Donald Trump will today meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Davos as the US push to secure a deal to end the almost four-year war between Russia and Ukraine.
The meeting at the World Economic Forum comes hours before US envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
