Stars spotted leaving Golden Globes as viewers slam ceremony

The Golden Globe Awards kicked off awards season as A-listers descended on the red carpet for one of the biggest nights in Hollywood. 

Comedian Nikki Glaser hosted the show for a second time at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

A-List stars were not impressed by the hours-long ceremony, however, with the likes of Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard slipping out of the Beverly Hilton before the show ended. 

Actor and comedian Keegan-Michael Key was also spotted making his way out before the final awards were handed out. 

Viewers online also slammed the Golden Globes as ‘cringe’ and a ‘disappointment.’  

In her opening monologue, Nikki Glaser savagely took aim at Trump’s Justice Department, awarding the DoJ ‘best editing’ alluding to the Epstein files redactions.

She also took aim at CBS, awarding the network ‘most editing’ before quipping ‘yes, CBS News, America’s newest place to see BS news.’

Stephen Graham and wife Hannah Walters get their groove on at the Netflix Golden Globes afterparty

There was one person in particular Stephen Graham wanted to celebrate with following the success of his show, Adolescence – his wife Hannah Walters.

The couple, who have been married for 17 years, danced the night away at the Golden Globes Netflix afterparty, where they were joined by their co-stars.

Stephen was clearly in the mood to party after winning Best Male Actor in a TV Drama for his stellar role in the hard-hitting Netflix drama.

Owen Cooper, 16, mingles with his new showbiz pals Leonardo DiCaprio and George Clooney

Glamorous nights deserve glamorous company, and so it proved as Owen Cooper enjoyed another successful awards show in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.

The talented 16-year old made history by becoming the youngest actor to win a Golden Globe as the annual ceremony got underway at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

So young he’s still studying for his GCSE’s, Cooper proved he’s at ease among some of Hollywood’s biggest stars while toasting his award, rightfully earned for his starring role in hit Netflix series Adolescence.

The Warrington based actor was seen rubbing shoulders with George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio as the show swept the board, earning further awards for co-star Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty, as well as Best Limited TV Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for TV.

The actress, 35, turned heads in a daring ‘naked dress’ which showed off her incredible figure.

Designed by Givenchy’s Sarah Burton, the see-through dress was embroidered with delicate pink, ivory, and green flowers, leaving little to the imagination.

American art gallery director Cooke, 41, looked dapper in a black tuxedo and was seated alongside Jennifer at the table inside the venue.

George and Amal Clooney head home

George and Amal Clooney were spotted leaving in their car after attending both Nikki Glaser and Netflix’s after parties.

The couple looked ready for their beds after partying into the night following this year’s ceremony.

Jennifer could be seen waving to fans after dancing the night away with her Hollywood A-lister friends.

Paris Hilton was also pictured at the venue, also wearing an incredible skin-tight dress that was covered in sequins.

Sitting together at the ceremony, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the duo shared a number of kisses, while the reality star, 28, placed a gentle hand on the 30-year-old victor’s lap prior to his Best Actor win for Marty Supreme.

Flooding X with excited reaction, fans of the pair observed that the PDA-heavy duo were ‘obsessed with each other’ while fan pages shared videos of their kisses.

Bobby Cannavale skipped Golden Globes to purchase bearded dragon

Bobby Cannavale skipped the Golden Globes, where his wife Rose Byrne won best female actor in a musical or comedy film, to purchase a bearded dragon.

While accepting her award, Byrne said he husband missed the show for good reason.

‘We’re getting a bearded dragon, and he went to a reptile expo in New Jersey,’ she said.

Viewers complain about Golden Globes Polymarket polls

People watching the Golden Globes from home complained about the Polymarket polls that that popped up on their screens predicting this year’s winners.

‘This year’s Golden Globes was pretty good if you ignore the weird song choices and the Polymarket polls constantly plastered on screen,’ one person wrote on X.

‘No way Polymarket just infiltrated Golden Globes! Wow,’ a second person wrote.

A third person added, ‘The Golden Globes showing Polymarket odds for the next category is super lame.’
