Katie Price’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler faces sex attack charges trial

Katie Price’s ex-husband, Kieran Hayler is to go on trial next year charged with raping and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl while he was married to the star.

The personal trainer, 38, is alleged to have committed three counts of rape and one sexual assault between June and October 2016 – in the middle of his marriage to the ex-glamour model, 47.

The pair wed in 2013 and went on to have two children before splitting in 2018.

The alleged victim is not a member of either Ms Price’s nor Hayler’s families.

Hayler, from Northchapel in West Sussex, arrived at Lewes Crown Court this morning wearing a thick black puffa jacket.

Wearing a dark suit and a white shirt with a green tie as well as his heavy black puffa jacket, Hayler stood in the dock and confirmed his name.

The three charges of rape and one of sexual assault were read out to Hayler by the court clerk.

Asked how he pleaded he replied in a clear voice saying, ‘Not guilty’, to each charge before resuming his seat.

Lewes Crown Court heard he is scheduled to appear in court for a pre-trial review on April 23 next year and is set to face a one-week trial starting on October 6, 2026.

Hayler was granted bail on a condition that he does not contact the alleged victim.

Earlier, a representative for Hayler said: ‘Kieran Hayler strongly denies the allegations made against him in its entirety.

‘Mr Hayler is fully engaged and has been co-operating with the police throughout the investigation and will continue to do so.

‘He looks forward to his name being cleared believing in the judicial system to do so.’

Hayler was granted bail on the condition he does not contact the alleged victim.

In October, Sussex Police said: ‘We can confirm Kieran Hayler, 38, of Northchapel in West Sussex, has been charged with three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl.

‘The offences are alleged to have occurred at an address in West Sussex between June 1 and October 13, 2016.

‘The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has received support from specially trained officers as our enquiries continue.’

Hayler, who has also worked as an actor, stripper and reality star, first met Ms Price in 2012 before he proposed on Christmas Day of that year.

They married at the Sandals Royal Bahamian luxury resort in the Bahamas in January 2013.

This was followed by a wedding blessing ceremony at the Rookery Manor Hotel in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, in March of the same year.

The newlyweds then took a glamorous honeymoon to the Maldives.

He was Ms Price’s third husband following her marriages to singer Peter Andre and cage fighter Alex Reid.

Katie and Hayler split in 2018 and divorced in 2021.
