Kate Hudson stole the spotlight on Monday evening as she posed with her co-star Hugh Jackman at the Gotham Awards while his girlfriend, Sutton Foster, looked on from the sidelines.
The actress, 46, who stars as Claire Sardina in the upcoming musical drama Song Sung Blue alongside Hugh, 57, flashed a beaming smile as she joined him for a sweet snap during dinner, while Sutton, 50, appeared to avert her gaze.
The duo were in high spirits throughout the night as they took to the stage to accept the 2025 Gotham Awards’ inaugural Gotham Musical Tribute for their new movie.
For the occasion, Kate looked nothing short of sensational, going braless in an ivory silk halterneck gown.
The glamorous floor-length number featured a daring backless design and a beautifully draped silhouette.
She completed the look with a plush white faux-fur coat draped over her shoulders and added height with metallic silver platform heels.
Meanwhile, Hugh cut a dapper figure in a classic black-and-white tuxedo as Kate led the way, taking his hand as the co-stars made their way onto the stage to accept their award.
Earlier in the evening, the pair also posed for a series of sweet portraits in the IMDb studio.
Kate looked phenomenal as she struck a sultry pose, wrapping an arm around Hugh as he sat perched on a stool for the shot.
Song Sung Blue is a biographical musical drama based on the true story of Mike and Claire Sardina, a couple who form a Neil Diamond tribute act called Lightning & Thunder.
The movie follows their journey from struggling Milwaukee performers to finding love and success on stage, navigating personal hurdles, including Mike’s troubled past and a serious accident Claire suffers, all while performing Neil Diamond classics.
Song Sung Blue is set to hit UK cinemas on January 1, 2026.
Earlier in the evening, Hugh and his girlfriend, Sutton, showed off their affection as they arrived at the venue ahead of the awards ceremony.
The couple tenderly fussed over one another as they assumed the position on the red carpet.
Hugh couldn’t keep his hands off Sutton, who looked incredible in a glittering black dress that clung to her figure.
The Greatest Showman star also took up the chance to pose with his co-star Kate on the red carpet, and an awards insider told the Daily Mail exclusively that the couple ‘lit up like a Christmas tree’ once they reconvened inside the ceremony.
‘Sutton waited inside with a female friend for about 30 minutes while Hugh was outside posing for photos with Kate Hudson on the red carpet. When he came in, the two of them lit up like a Christmas tree. They looked so incredibly in love,’ the insider said.
The outing comes just days after Hugh went Instagram official with his lady love.
Hugh shared a photo of Sutton during an intimate performance at the Cafe Carlyle in New York City on Tuesday night.
The post also featured a short but cute video of the Tony Award-winning actress waving to the X-Men actor as he recorded her.
The A-lister gushed over his new ladylove in the post as he captioned it: ‘@suttonlenore performing during the holidays at @cafecarlyle … now that’s an iconic NYC night! And, truly magical.’
Hugh and Sutton confirmed their romance earlier this year.
In October, they made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Song Sung Blue.
This new relationship comes after Hugh split from his now ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.
Hugh and Deborra-Lee were married for 27 years before announcing their separation in September 2023. They share two adopted children who are now adults.
In June of this year, the pair finalised their divorce a month after filing.
A judgment of divorce was filed on June 12, making it official. The document was made public on June 23.
The divorce had been settled prior, but the judge’s final sign-off was required to make it official.
Deborra-Lee will receive a payout, according to an insider who previously spoke to the Daily Mail and said, ‘A settlement was reached that Deborra is pleased with, which includes a handsome spousal support payment.’
It was added: ‘There was some back and forth regarding this financial agreement, but, in the end, she got what she believed she deserved. Both are coming out of this financially secure.
‘There is not going to be any drama with this; it gives closure that she needed.’
