Anya Taylor-Joy dazzled in a strapless gold gown as she made her latest red carpet appearance at the 22nd Marrakech International Film Festival.

The Queen’s Gambit star, 29, looked picture perfect for day two of the glitzy event on Saturday.

She put on a show-stopping display as she stepped out in her pleated gold ensemble as she joined a slew of stars in attendance of the lavish festival.

Her dress clung to her tiny frame, highlighting her sensational figure and featured an intricate floral design across her chest.

Anna wore her platinum blonde locks in a chic updo and modelled some diamond stud earrings in the shape of a birds wing.

She rocked a dark glam look for the prestigious night and as she strolled along the red carpet.

Joining her was Wednesday star Jenna Ortega who stood out from the crowd in a champagne coloured, satin dress.

Jenna, 23, served up an angelic look and put on a stunning display in the one-shouldered gown.

The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice star modelled her trademark moody pout for the outing and sported dark gothic makeup.

Alongside filmmakers Celine Song, Julia Ducournau, Karim Aïnouz and Hakim Belabbes, as well as actor-director Payman Maadi, the two women have joined the jury of the Marrakech International Film Festival which takes place from November 28 to December 6.

Their job is to judge the 14 first and second feature films presented in an official competition dedicated to discovering new international talent.

The award winners are announced at the closing ceremony on December 6.

It comes after Jenna raised eyebrows after she appeared to look ‘fed up’ and ‘disappointed’ during a recent Wednesday press event earlier this month.

The actress was joined by the show’s cast and creators – including her on-screen parents Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán – at an FYC Event at Netflix Tudum in LA on November 9.

For a moment on the night, Jenna seemed deflated as writer, executive producer, and creator Alfred Gough heaped praise on her performance in the second series.

During his speech, Gough referenced an episode in which Jenna and Emma Myers swapped bodies.

In a clip, which was recorded by popular film blog Rama’s Screen, that has gained attention online, he said: ‘She and Emma really took care of each other on that body swap episode… and they took care of each other on set while doing it. It’s an extraordinary episode.

‘But Jenna is extraordinary through the entire season and so I will give her the props that she won’t give herself.’

As Gough shared his remark, which was met with applause from the audience, Jenna positioned herself away from his gaze.

Instead, she faced in a different direction while resting her chin on her fist.

After he finished his compliment, Jenna shifted the conversation and instead paid tribute to the Wednesday crew.

‘Actually, I’m very proud of the Irish crew stepping in,’ she said.

‘I’m not the one lugging around the equipment and loading trucks every day, showing up and making something that Tim [Burton] said he wanted two minutes ago, it’s not easy.’

After a clip of the moment circulated online, social media users speculated on a supposed rift between the actress and Gough.
