British tennis star Emma Raducanu shows off stunning new look

Emma Raducanu has shown off a brand-new hairstyle as the British No1 continues to enjoy the off-season.

The 23-year-old was forced to cut her season short after struggling with back pain in the later stages of the Asian swing this autumn, with Raducanu falling to defeat in three sets against Lin Zhu in her final match of the year at the Ningbo Open.

Raducanu has also taken the decision to withdraw from her planned exhibition events next month, declining the opportunity to travel to Miami to face off with her close friend Amanda Anisimova, and pair up with her US Open mixed doubles partner Carlos Alcaraz for a second time.

Instead, Raducanu is keen not to disrupt the planned pre-season she has with her coach Francisco Roig, as the pair prepare to work together in preparation for the Australian Open for the first time since he joined her set-up this summer.

But before training begins in earnest, Raducanu has been enjoying some much-needed downtime in her home city of London, and decided to experiment with a fresh crop.

Raducanu was tended to by hairdresser Nicola Noviello, a stylist at Belgravia-based salon Hershesons.

The British No1 had markedly longer hair earlier this month when she celebrated her birthday

Noviello shared pictures of the trim on his social media, writing that the work had been a pairing of ‘Italian hands’ with ‘British elegance’.

‘A fresh new look for (Raducanu), grazie for trusting me with your style!’ He captioned a picture carousel of the player posing with her new look. ‘Creating something beautiful with an Italian touch is always special’.

For her part, Raducanu appears to be delighted with the style, as she commented: ‘You’re the best best (two white heart emojis)’ under the images.

During the salon, Raducanu appeared to entertain herself reading Blackstone CEO Stephen A Schwarzman’s What It Takes: Lessons in the Pursuit of Excellence.

As well as a trip to the hairdressers, Raducanu has enjoyed celebrating her birthday at tennis’ favourite restaurant, Cambio de Tercio in South Kensington, and a visit to Twickenham to watch England take on New Zealand in their Autumn Internationals meeting.

Raducanu sat alongside Bridgerton star Simone Ashley, and posed alongside England’s Henry Pollock after the match and met England captain Maro Itoje in the stands.

The 23-year-old also sparked romance rumours as she stepped out with new man Jack Coman

The Wild ambassador had previously joined the England camp for a training day in the build-up to the match, which England won 33-19.

Raducanu was also spotted with a new mystery man, Jack Coman, who featured in both her Instagram posts, and accompanied her to the home of English rugby for the match.

Coman appeared in two posts, seemingly taken close to each other in time. Another friend was present in the pictures, but Coman smiled awkwardly as Raduanu posed and seemingly started laughing.

One friend commented: ‘[heart emoji] lovers,’ to which Raducanu replied with three heart emojis of her own.
