Meet the ring girls for Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua’s fight in Miami

Anthony Joshua and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul are set to clash in a controversial clash next month – but the blockbuster pair won’t be the sole attraction.

AJ and ‘The Problem Child’ will take to the ring in Miami on December 19, with the bout, which will be streamed live on Netflix, to consist of eight three-minute rounds and have professional status.

And ahead of the £140million ($185m) heavyweight showdown, two of the ring girls set to step into the spotlight have been unveiled with the search for a third still ongoing.

Fans tuning into the streaming giant to watch the bout between the Brit and the American are sure to have their heads swayed by the stunning models set to step into the ring.

Most Valuable Promotions – Paul’s promotion company – has recruited a dazzling pair to anchor their stunning lineup of ring girls, including a Brazilian model and a University of Alabama graduate.

Veteran ring girl Raphaela Milagres leads the lineup, bringing a wealth of experience to Miami in December.

The Brazilian bombshell is a seasoned vet, stepping inside the ring for multiple high profile events including many of Paul’s fights.

The model was ringside for Paul’s controversial fight against Mike Tyson last year as well as his previous bouts against Andre August and Ryan Bourland.

Most recently, the 31-year-old was present at the Katy Taylor vs Amanda Serrano match in July.

She rose to fame for her impressive work in the bikini modelling industry, placing eighth at the Ms Olympia bikini competition in 2018.

Milagres has grown an impressive social media following with 181,000 followers on Instagram.

Joining Milagres will be Marissa Ayers, a 22-year-old social media sensation with a background in gymnastics.

The blonde beauty signed on to MVP’s roster of stunning ring girls earlier this year, making her debut at MVP prospects 12 in Orlando, Florida, in May.

The American competed at the Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta and was also a cheerleader for Stingray Allstars.

She graduated from the University of Alabama in May, majoring in Public Relations and Advertising.

Since leaving school, she has become a successful as a content creator, YouTuber and influencer.

Ayers boasts 400,000 followers on Instagram, while on TikTok she has amassed more than 1.5 million followers.

Meanwhile, the search for another ring girl to round out the trio of beauties goes on. MVP is still on the hunt for a third with the promotions company targeting the UK.

MVP has opened applications, encouraging models based in the UK to enter for the chance to be flown out to Miami and be the latest addition to its roster of standouts.

‘Anthony Joshua is the biggest superstars in all of UK boxing which is why it was only right that we came to the UK for this search. If you’ve ever dreamed of being part of a global event, this is your moment,’ the company wrote in its advertising post, stressing that hopefuls must be based in the UK.

Last year, Sydney Thomas, a ring girl for the Paul v Tyson fight, went viral after she worked the blockbuster event.

Thomas’ fame skyrocketed after appearing at the event, with the stunning influencer being crowned as the ‘real winner’ by fans after the bout failed to live up to the hype.

She has since been thrust into the spotlight as her popularity continues to soar, attending a host of high-profile events – including the Grammys.

However, she admitted that the newfound fame was ‘overwhelming’ while speaking to The Daily Mail at Sports Illustrated’s Super Bowl party in New Orleans in February.

‘I get people coming up to me now and asking for pictures, that’s been an adjustment for me,’ she said. ‘It’s weird walking around in public now and getting recognized.

‘I never really thought that’s a position I’d be in. It’s great but it’s also a bit overwhelming.’
