The soap star, 42, has shared her diet and exercise secrets to looking and feeling her very best

‘My cholesterol is quite high and there are arguments that it is bad for you, but I quite like it… the fattier the better, it is all natural, I’d rather that than a fillet with loads of peppercorn.’

And when it comes to food cravings, she does not limit herself.

She said: ‘For me, if I have a craving for something… say something spicy, I need to have it, nothing else will do.

‘You’re not tricking me with spicy nuts. I’d rather have two spoonfuls instead of a tray of it. That has always been my thing.’

As for exercise, Jennifer revealed she does weight training and wants to pick yoga back up.

She said: ‘I need to get back into my yoga. I used to do it when I lived in Liverpool about five years ago.

‘I used to go one or two nights a week, and it is something I have recently said I want to get back into.

‘I do a bit of weight training and you get twinges, but yoga keeps it all… and the mind empty as well! I wouldn’t mind trying that.

And when it comes to food cravings, she does not limit herself

‘I did a degree in fitness immediately after my A-Levels, so I am very aware of what works for me and what I need to do.

‘I do workouts at home, that is time for me when nobody is interrupting.

‘I have my Earpods in. People have gym buddies, I am like, “sounds great, but I don’t want to talk to anyone,” my head is enough.

‘I put music on in my ears and smash an hour out. I feel like that is therapy after I have finished it. It’s amazing for your head.’

As for her love life, Jennifer has been in a relationship with Joshua Cox since December 2022.

Josh previously hit the headlines after he enjoyed a fling with Annie Kilner while she was on a break from Manchester City player Kyle Walker.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday on Valentine’s day last year, Jennifer admitted: ‘I have recently been spending time with someone and he makes me feel happy.

‘I look forward to seeing him and our time together is always lovely.’

The star also admitted that prior to meeting her new man she gave celebrity dating app Raya a try, but never actually went on a date.

She explained: ‘I tried that celebrity dating app Raya but I never went on a date.

‘I prefer to meet someone and get an idea of them in real life before dating, so that app got deleted quickly.’
