Aled Jones’s daughter Emilia wowed in a very daring sheer ensemble as she attended the New York premiere of The Running Man.

The British actress, 23, who is the daughter of Welsh singer Aled, stars in the film alongside the likes of Glen Powell and Colman Domingo as a civilian hostage.

Joining her cast members at the New York premiere of the film at AMC Lincoln Square 13 on Sunday, Emilia turned heads in a racy look.

She wore a black mini-dress featuring a ruffled high neckline and low-rise mini-skirt design.

The dress was completely sheer at her upper body, displaying her toned abdomen and a skimpy black triangle bra.

Emilia paired the dress with black satin stilettos and accessorised with bling diamond stud earrings.

She was seen posing alongside her co-stars Glen, Colman, Katy O’Brian, David Zayas, Josh Brolin, William H. Macy, Daniel Ezra, Jayme Lawson, Angelo Giorgio Gray, Martin Herlihy and Lee Pace and producer and director Edgar Wright.

British director Edgar has taken on the mammoth task of remaking the cult classic action film, based on the novel by Stephen King, under the pseudonym Richard Bachman.

The film takes place in a dystopian future where a TV show follows criminal ‘runners’ escaping professional killers.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s original movie is set in a United States between 2017 and 2019.

Edgar has not indicated when his version is set and what his take on the classic movie is although it is reported to stick more to King’s original novel.

The novel cantered on a desperate man who needs money for his sick daughter, so he joins the popular TV show The Running Man.

The longer a contestant survives, the more money that person makes with Richards soon taking on the show’s dark secrets and villainous producers.

Edgar has been attached to the project since 2021 after citing it as the film he would most like to remake.

John Brolin, William H Macy and Edgar’s Scott Pilgrim lead Michael Cera are also in the cast.

Glen spoke out on his part in the project during a summer interview with IndieWire, gushing: ‘I’m going to be shooting The Running Man in the fall.

‘We’ve been going back and forth on script stuff, and it’s so fun.’

‘The world that Edgar’s developed on this thing is just outrageous. It’s so good.

‘And really, we’re just both such big fans of the Stephen King book [the movie is based on], and it’s going to be a great character. I’m so fired up about it.’

The actor has long had Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz director Edgar at the top of his dream list of collaborators.

He explained: ‘I searched my email, and I searched Edgar Wright in my email, and it came up: I had a wish list of directors that I wanted to work with in 2008 when I moved out to LA that I sent my agent at the time — and Edgar Wright is literally number one.’

‘I’m such an Edgar Wright man. And so, the fact that I get to work with him right now is just so damn cool.’

The original movie, directed by Paul Michael Glaser, has gained cult status since its 1987 moderate box office success and mixed reviews from critics.

The Running Man premieres in cinemas on November 14.
