Ariana Grande had a terrifying moment when she was almost hit by a car while leaving a Wicked screening in Paris.
The singer, 32, was crossing the street to greet fans when a big black SUV started backing up – coming extremely close to running her over.
A shocked Grande looked terrified as the car started barreling towards her, stopping just inches from her body.
She put her hand up to block herself before stepping away from the car and covering her mouth in surprise.
Footage of the terrifying moment was shared to X, where it went viral.
Fans were quick to share their thoughts, and many were left shaken by how close of a call it was.
‘This is scary,’ replied one, while another chimed in, ‘Thank God she is OK.’
‘Protect her at all costs omg,’ someone else added.
Grande looked sensational in a chic black gown with pink floral embellishments for the event, which was held at the Paris Opera on Friday evening.
The actress completed the stunning look with a black coat which had a pop of color in the lining.
She let the coat fall down her shoulders, showcasing her slender frame.
Sweeping her tresses into a bun, the stunner accented her beauty with glam makeup and added extra height with pointed heels.
While her costar Cynthia Erivo was not in attendance, Grande was joined by Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey and the film’s director Jon M Chu.
Later in the evening, the Thank U, Next songstress was spotted in another outfit as she arrived for a private premiere of Wicked: For Good in the French capital.
She changed into what appeared to be a light pink maxi dress, which she paired with another set of sleek black heels.
The star wrapped up in a long black coat as she stepped out of a private cab.
She appeared in good spirits despite the incident with the car, waving to fans as she made her way to the next venue.
Just days ago Grande was forced to miss the Wicked premiere in Brazil over flight problems.
She was due to walk the red carpet at the Sao Paulo event on Tuesday evening but was forced to deplane due to safety issues.
Taking to Instagram to share her disappointment, Grande said that her team failed to find an alternative arrangement to get her to Sao Paolo in time.
‘A few hours ago, my team and I had to deplane our flight, as they had to do maintenance on the plane due to a safety issue and it will not be taking off until 11 am tomorrow.
‘My team and Universal have tried every single thing possible to fix this.
‘We’ve searched every other flight, overnight, early morning, connecting flights, commercial and also private options and absolutely nothing was available or possible that would get us there in time.
‘Even in attempting a private option, there is a permit necessary in order to fly from here that takes time to attain.’
She added: ‘Brazil, I can’t believe this is happening and I am beyond devastated to be sending this message.’
