Star Trek legend dies surrounded by family as tributes pour in

Star Trek legend Peter-Henry Schroeder has died aged 90.

The American actor was best known from Star Trek: Enterprise, the 2000s TV iteration of the long-running sci-fi series which ran for four seasons.

Peter is reported to have ‘passed away peacefully’ in June while surrounded by members of his family at the Lake City Veterans Affairs Medical Centre in Florida.

His cause of death is unknown at this point.

Deadline reports that during his final days, Peter-Henry was repeatedly asking when he was going to be allowed out of hospital and back to work.

He asked doctors and his family: ‘When are you going to get me out of here? I’ve got to get back to LA [to work].’
