Brits can bag all-inclusive holidays for less than £1.50

Pastry fans are in for a treat: the humble sausage roll could be your ticket to an incredible summer holiday.

Greggs and Jet2holidays have joined forces to offer a European getaway with plenty of home comforts for those lucky enough to be packing their bags.

The partnership will see 20 lucky Greggs fans and their plus ones jet off to the sunny shores of Spain’s Costa del Sol for a three-night, all-inclusive break.

‘We’re not just offering sun, sand and SPF, we’re delivering a taste of home and a whole lot of fun,’ said a Greggs spokesperson.

For just £1.30 – the price of the bakery’s sausage roll – the winners will be whisked off to paradise on return flights from Manchester Airport and a stay at the four-star Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach.

The beachfront hotel is just minutes from the buzzing Puerto Banus.

The collaboration comes after revealing new research showing nearly three-quarters of Brits – particularly 73 per cent of gen Z and 76 per cent of millennials – admit to missing their favourite home comforts when abroad.

With that in mind, it’s not just the holiday that’s on offer.

Each winner will receive a limited edition sausage roll-inspired suitcase packed with holiday essentials

Research found that 40 per cent of Brits miss their Greggs while abroad ¿ so winners will get in-flight packs that include some of the brand¿s best-loved treats

Before takeoff, each winner will receive a limited-edition sausage roll-inspired suitcase packed with holiday essentials.

This includes bucket hats and passport covers to water bottles and sunglasses – ensuring they’re fully prepped for their getaway.

They’ll also be sent travel packs, including a bespoke eye mask for kipping at 37,000 feet.

And because the research found that 40 per cent of Brits miss their Greggs while abroad, those in-flight packs will include some of the brand’s best-loved treats.

‘We’re always looking at different ways we can offer unique experiences to our customers, so we’re excited to see how our fans react to the introduction of our first ever Greggs inspired package holiday,’ a spokesperson for Greggs says.

‘From an all-inclusive weekend by the beach to a limited-edition range of Sausage Roll inspired merch, we’re not just offering sun, sand and SPF, we’re delivering a taste of home and a whole lot of fun!”

‘This partnership is a fantastic way to demonstrate all the qualities that make a holiday with Jet2holidays so memorable.
