Trump makes romantic confession about Melania at Halloween party

Donald Trump declared his desire for some alone time with his wife Melania at a glitzy Halloween party, a lip reader revealed.

The president hosted a Great Gatsby bash for his MAGA pals at Mar-a-Lago on Friday.

The official theme was ‘A little party never killed nobody,’ referencing the song from the 2013 film adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, the White House told ABC News.

Trump sat at a table with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, his wife Jeanette, as well as Judge Jeanine Pirro, and his son-in-law Michael Boulos, who is married to Tiffany Trump.

Video from the evening showed Trump whispering to Rubio about wanting to spend more time with the First Lady, lip reader Nicola Hickling told the Daily Mail.

‘No small talk,’ Trump said. ‘One night, I don’t want to be disturbed and want to spend some time with Melania before I leave.’

Guests shared photos of their 1920s-inspired outfits on social media, including Pirro, who wore a glittering green dress and other flapper garb.

Rubio’s wife shared pictures of her silky white gown and long pearl necklace in a post caption, ‘Great time last night at Mar-A-Lago.’

The president had a jam-packed week traveling across Asia, then stopping at the White House on Thursday to hand out candy to children with his wife before heading to his Florida residence.

Both Trump and the First Lady went viral for their interactions with kids at the trick-or-treating event.

Trump recreated his iconic 2019 candy bar moment by placing a piece of chocolate on a child who was dressed as DJ Marshmello.

Eagle-eyed fans noted that Trump played the same trick during his first term six years ago when he placed a piece of candy on top of a kid dressed as a Minion from the hit movie, Despicable Me.

Melania candidly showed off her maternal side while handing out candy, as she comforted a young girl who looked frightened by the Halloween decor surrounding her.

However, Trump’s Roaring 20s themed event was not as well received with critics slamming the president for hosting the party on the day the Department of Agriculture planned to freeze payments to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) because it said it could no longer keep funding it due to the shutdown.

‘Donald Trump hosted a Great Gatsby party while SNAP benefits were about to disappear for 42 million Americans. He does not give a damn about you,’ California Governor Gavin Newsom said on X.

Democratic National Committee chair Ken Martin claimed the party showed the president does not care about average Americans.

‘Last night, Trump made it even clearer that he doesn’t give a damn about anyone but himself and his wealthy friends,’ he said.

Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy said, ‘The way he rubs his inhumanity in Americans’ face never ceases to stun me.’

White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly dismissed the critics, telling ABC News it is on Democrats to end the government shutdown.

‘These Democrats are full of it,’ she said. ‘President Trump has consistently called on them to do the right thing and reopen the government, which they could do at any time.’
