Husband ‘kills and skins his wife after she refused to cook soup’

A Russian man has ‘killed and skinned his wife’ after she refused to cook him chicken soup.

Rafis Khuzin, 56, has been detained after confessing to police that he stabbed wife Olga Blinova, 49, to death with a large kitchen knife on October 17 in the Russia city of Berezovsky.

According to police, he attempted to dismember her body, but was only able to skin the upper part of her corpse before hiding it in his garden.

Khuzin had asked his wife to cut up chicken for soup, but she refused, prompting him to unleash his violent attack, according to local media.

Five days later he confessed the killing to law enforcement, and a murder case has been opened.

Police spokesman Valery Gorelykh said: ‘Even the detectives, who have seen plenty of horrifying scenes over the course of their careers, were shocked by what they found when they arrived first at the scene.’

The horrific case comes after a man in London was accused of murdering his wife after she was found stabbed to death at the home they shared.

Emergency services rushed to their address in Hornchurch, east London on October 18.
