Eighties pop star Nathan Moore has revealed he was rushed to hospital after one of his concerts in Martigues, France.

The Brother Beyond singer, 61, didn’t disclose why he had to go to A&E but told fans he was ‘really struggling’ as he shared photos in his hospital gown.

In a post uploaded on Instagram over the weekend, Nathan wrote: ‘Please excuse me for dancing sitting on a chair in Martigues. Unfortunately after the show I spent the night in the hospital.

‘I should be recovered for Montpellier, but I can’t dance. My apologies in advance. A big thank you to the entire medical team of Martigues, who were so kind.’

Nathan looked in pain in one photo of himself lying on a hospital bed, while in another he had a cannula in his arm.

After being discharged, the singer added: ‘My journey home was interesting. Thanks for all your understanding regarding my performances on stage, I’m really struggling and I’m not sure what I am going to do next week.’

‘Hey Nathan, get some rest. We’re thinking of you. Stay strong and hang in there.’

Daily Mail has contacted Nathan’s representatives for comment.

Brother Beyond hit the music scene in 1985, with an original fifth member, Eg White, who left before they found major success.

They released singles I Should Have Lied, How Many Times, Chain-Gang Smile and Can You Keep a Secret?

Their initial singles didn’t perform as well as the group would have liked – but the band took an unconventional approach when it came to upping their game.

When music producer trio Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman – known collectively as SAW – put their musical prowess on the block at a charity auction, the band bid for their help and won it.

As a result, their next batch of singles stormed the charts and their first album, Get Even, was released in 1988. It  peaked at number nine on the UK album charts.

The group released new single Drive On in 1989 from their second record, Trust, followed by two other tracks, but success seemed to wain.

Nathan also shared this photo from the gig as he apologised for being unable to dance

They attempted to then crack America but this fizzled out, leading to the group’s eventual disbandment in 1991.
