Rory McIlroy looked primed to retain his green jacket on Friday night but a error-strewn third round and some outrageous play from those in the chasing pack saw his six-shot lead get wiped out.

Now he’s level on -11 with Cameron Young and the likes of Sam Burns, Shane Lowry, Justin Rose and Scottie Scheffler are chasing them down.
