2026 Masters LIVE: Leaderboard and updates from final round at Augusta

Follow Daily Mail Sport’s live blog for the latest leaderboard and updates from the final round of The Masters 2026 at Augusta National.

Another bogey for Young as McIlroy hits back

Wow. Justin Rose is the new sole leader of the Masters.

Young misses his par putt at the 7th, nudging it just left to the astonishment of the patrons sat around that green. He drops to 10-under with Henley.

Finally some good news for McIlroy, who birdies the same hole to move back up to 10-under.

Rose has a share of the lead!

A year after his playoff heartbreak against McIlroy, Rose finds himself back in the thick of it at Augusta.

The Englishman birdies the eighth to move to 11-under alongside Young, who looks like he’ll save par at the seventh.

Henley missed his chance to join them, settling for par at the 10th.

Nervy approach from Young

Out of nowhere, Young hits his approach at the seventh a little heavy and it drops short of the green into bunker.

Rose and Henley primed to join Young

Two incredible approach shots from Henley, at 10, and Rose, at 8, have given them both birdie opportunities.

They’ll be joining Young at 11-under if they make them.

Despite being off the green, McIlroy gets the putter out of his bag to keep control of his second shot.

But he doesn’t hit it anywhere near hard enough through the longer grass and it barely makes it past the fringe of the green.

Trying to save par, he misses to the right and drops another shot. That’s the defending champion back to nine-under.

Young then misses his putt for par so he drops to 11-under, with Rose and Henley just one behind now.

More trouble for McIlroy

Like yesterday, the reigning champion’s game just feels off.

He’s hit his tee shot at the par-three sixth way too long and sends it into the patrons at the back of the green.

Young has found the green but has about 70 feet for a birdie. He leaves his effort about four feet short for par.

ISABEL BALDWIN AT AUGUSTA: Not even his quest for a green jacket could keep devout Catholic Cameron Young from church this Sunday.

While he’s praying to the golfing god at the cathedral of pines in the final pairing on Sunday, the 28-year-old insisted that the orthodox form of worshipping would first be taking place.

Henley joins the chasing pack

Young escapes the fifth

Nerves of steel from Young there as he salvages a par at the fifth with an ice-cold putt from about eight feet.

McIlroy also makes par at the fifth to remain two back, along with Rose who made his birdie at the seventh to move to 10-under.

Joining them two back is American Russell Henley, who is four-under thru eight and the hottest man on the course right now.

Moment of magic from Justin Rose

What a shot that is.

Justin Rose shows all of his Augusta experience with a remarkable approach shot at the seventh.

From the trees, he’s hit one to within two feet. He’ll surely pick up a birdie there and move to within two shots of leader Young.
